A teeny tiny bit about yours truly
Greetings from a 22 year old odd-ball. I'm a language studies major, artist and too much of a damn nerd for my own good. I happen to be very eager to restore what little authenticity the new web has left us with. In this technological world tailored-made to keep your attention as revenue for every waking moment of our lives, a little bit of playing around and building my own little internet corner is my own way of getting away from it all. Plus, damn it, I love how the old web looked! Is it that weird to build all of my technological sphere around it? Regardless, if anyone is over here peeking at my yapping, I hope you (somewhat) enjoy the nonsense I have to share.
Or don't enjoy it. I won't tell you what to do!
Things I enjoy!
A masterlist of things I like and constantly yap about:
- Rumiko Takahashi's works (eg. Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Maison Ikkoku).
- The Legend of Zelda (specially OOT and MM speedruns and randomizers).
- I like speedrunning in general. I don't partake in the act of speedrunning in and of itself, though I would love to be able to properly windbomb in BOTW and do cannonless in SM64.
- Old operating systems (I'm a modern GUI hater!).
- Shoujo anime!
- I'm a language nerd. I major in the field. Still unsure of which path my future research is going to take. I've also been prepping for the JLPT N3 exam this upcoming December!
- My current favorite movies are: Hana-bi by Takeshi Kitano, Harold and Maude by Hal Ashby, and some of Cronenberg's films. This is my attempt at being a serious movie enjoyer. I'm also very much a fan of romcom movies...
- My favorite animals are penguins, bats and frogs. My favorite color is yellow and pink. My favorite letter on the IPA alphabet is [æ].
